Job summary

Motion Industries, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician II to service hydraulic systems and related equipment at customer sites regionally. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations with regional responsibility.

Requires a technical degree and 3–5 years of related experience, plus the ability to read hydraulic schematics, safely operate shop equipment, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical degree and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and diagnose equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients including emergency repairs and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
• Diagnose problems, assess extent, document findings, and decide repairs or part replacements.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and lead smaller projects at sites.
