Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site services for hydraulics, diagnostics and maintenance at customer sites in Birmingham, AL. Responsibilities include installation, repair, and upgrades with 24/7 on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including on-site emergency repairs, equipment servicing and upgrades.
Installs, diagnos(es) and repairs equipment at customer sites and provides support.
Diagnoses problems, documents findings and decides to repair or replace parts.
Provides technical support and training to customers on system equipment.
Keeps customers informed on service status and recommends enhancements or repairs.
Communicates with customers and management to resolve issues.
