Job summary

Insight Global in Abilene, Texas is seeking a Field Safety Coordinator to support a large-scale power generation and data center construction project. The role is hands-on, spending most time in the field conducting safety observations and promoting safe work practices.

You will work closely with contractors and project teams to verify OSHA compliance, participate in JSA meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-job safety discussions, and coach on unsafe conditions before incidents occur.

Qualifications

• Conduct daily field safety observations and site walkthroughs.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety requirements, site procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Participate in JSA meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-job safety discussions.
• Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and provide coaching when necessary.
• Build strong working relationships with contractors, supervisors, and project leadership.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action follow-up.
• Perform routine safety inspections and document findings.
• Support high-risk work activities including crane and rigging operations, equipment operation, and material handling.
• Promote a positive safety culture through active field engagement and communication.
• Maintain accurate safety records and reporting documentation.
