Job summary

ON.energy is seeking a Project Safety Manager for a site-based role beginning in Snyder, TX, with future deployment to Abilene, TX. This role requires travel and remote project support, ensuring HSE compliance across delivery activities.

Per diem and rotation trips home every 4 weeks are provided. You will lead HSE oversight, advise project teams and contractors, and develop safety programs across high-risk activities.

Qualifications

• Ten plus years work experience in EPC projects and/or heavy construction with safety-related certification (e.g., CHST).
• Low voltage/medium voltage electrical safety experience.
• Track record of sustained implementation and overall management of construction safety programs.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a technical advisor to project team and contractors.
• Independently determines approaches and develops solutions to resolve HSE issues.
• Performs weekly safety inspections of the ongoing project work and provides direct feedback.
• Stops work when unsafe and determines corrective actions before restarting.
• Leads, coordinates, and participates in investigations of near misses, injuries, or unsafe conditions.
• Leads project weekly safety meetings with management and contractor/vendor participation.
• Maintains and develops HSE training content and records.
