Job summary

Insight Global in Abilene, Texas is seeking a Field Safety Coordinator to support a large-scale power generation and data center construction project. The role is hands-on, spending most time in the field conducting safety observations and promoting safe work practices.

You will work closely with contractors and project teams to verify OSHA compliance, participate in JSA meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-job safety discussions, and coach on unsafe conditions before incidents occur.

• Promote a positive safety culture through active field engagement and communication.
• Maintain accurate safety records and reporting documentation.

Job description

We are seeking a Field Safety Coordinator to support a large-scale power generation and data center construction project in Abilene, Texas. This individual will serve as a visible safety presence in the field, working closely with contractors and project teams to promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with site safety requirements. This is a hands-on role that will spend the majority of time in the field conducting safety observations, participating in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings, verifying contractor compliance, and addressing potential hazards before incidents occur. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting construction activities within industrial, oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, refinery, or data center environments. Key Responsibilities include:
