Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Field Management Superintendent to lead field teams, verify material and workmanship, and ensure safety on CPFMD projects in Arlington, VA. You will coordinate with security and operations and monitor schedules and QAIs to maintain quality.

Required: BA/BS with four years of experience. Preferred: CCM/CPC/DBIA, MS Office, AutoCAD, Procore/Primavera P6, OSHA 30, and experience mentoring QAIs and handling change orders. Relocation not available.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus four years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Professional certification preferred: CCM, CPC, or DBIA
• Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, Procore or Primavera P6
• OSHA 30-hour or equivalent safety training
• Experience mentoring QAIs and field teams
• Familiarity with contracts, change orders, and payment procedures
• Experience with testing, inspections, and shop drawings reviews

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction documents to verify conformance with contract and regulatory requirements
• Verify conformance of materials and equipment with approved shop drawings / submittals
• Coordinate construction activities with security and building operations departments
• Assist the quality assurance team QAIs with their day-to-day duties
• Support the QAIs and their work product by providing field leadership
• Oversee specialized testing and inspections
• Monitor work performance and schedule adherence
• Assist in evaluating change orders as needed
• Review payment applications for certification
• Monitor contractor progress and QC plan adherence
• Review and provide feedback on contractor QC plans and implement with field staff
• Ensure quality standards across all trades
