Job summary

ECBuild-LLC in Richmond, VA is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead all on-site activities for multi‑million dollar projects. You will manage trades, enforce safety, ensure schedules and budgets are met, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and inspectors.

The role requires 5–7 years in a Superintendent/Asst. Superintendent role, OSHA 30 certification, GMP familiarity, and strong proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, and Primavera or MS Project. Travel to various sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years combined experience as Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent.
• Willingness to travel to various locations.
• OSHA 30 Hour Certified.
• Familiarity with GMPs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with Primavera (P6) or MS Project Scheduling Software.
• Ability to work with diverse, multi-disciplinary groups.

Responsibilities

• Develops a schedule and cost-effective plan for project completion.
• Coordinates and schedules trades and labor; communicates with foreperson.
• Prepares construction and look-ahead schedules.
• Inspects work for quality and timeliness; provides progress reports.
• Ensures permits, code compliance, and safety are maintained.
• Leads QC/QA efforts and coordinates with architects/engineers/inspectors.
• Conducts weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and 4-week look-ahead planning.
• Oversees on-site team and project safety; mentors staff.
