Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide staff support on governmental projects during design and construction phases. Responsibilities include validating materials, tracking construction progress, and ensuring compliance with documentation and inspection requirements.

The role requires a BA/BS in architecture, building science, engineering, or construction management and at least six years of experience, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering or Construction Management with six years of experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation.
• Experience collaborating with DC agencies or Federal government in DC Metro is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee validation of products and materials ordered for projects to verify accordance with the specifications.
• Monitor construction performance and record activities to ensure compliance with construction documentation requirements.
• Manage inspection work to assure methods, materials, and equipment conform to approved standards.
• Coordinate and review project documentation with Project Controls (cost and schedule).
• Lead Change Management Process and review pay applications for Owner approval.
• Coordinate with the General Contractor and schedule tests and inspections.
