Job summary

Thecolumbuspage is seeking an on-site IT support specialist to keep farm and production locations running smoothly. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot cameras, networking gear, bin readers, and field devices while assisting office-based users as needed.

This role requires an Associate's degree and 2 years of customer support experience; familiarity with Office 365, Active Directory, and Exchange is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of customer support experience preferred.
• 2 years of IT/field technology, low-voltage, networking or camera systems experience preferred.
• Experience setting up or supporting computers, printers, mobile devices, cameras and network-connected devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for cameras, internet equipment, bin readers, network-connected devices across farm and business locations.
• Travel regularly to farm and business sites to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot field technology.
• Assist with office-based support requests including user questions, device setup, emails, accounts and standard IT needs.
• Develop best practices and training resources to improve user experience and field technology reliability.
