Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a federal background check.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience with construction processes on large commercial, municipal or federal projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent technical writing and oral communication; able to interface with contractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects to verify compliance with design specs and standards.
• Document inspection results, deficiencies, and required corrective actions with detailed reporting.
• Review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and material certifications in coordination with engineers.
• Monitor construction progress and maintain daily reports and status updates.
• Oversee field construction services, ensuring safety, environmental, and quality controls are followed.
