Job summary

GrayWolf is seeking a Field Engineer to support a range of heavy industrial projects across multiple sites. The role involves interfacing with owners, engineers, field supervision, and suppliers to plan work, resolve field issues, and ensure work conforms to contract documents and schedules.

This development role offers a defined career path toward Project Manager, with full-time on-site involvement and opportunities to grow expertise in scheduling, cost tracking, and RFIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of similar construction experience in industrial environments such as pulp & paper, chemical, power, or heavy industrial.
• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Experience with scheduling and project controls: cost tracking, RFIs, take-offs/quantities, estimating.

Responsibilities

• Interact with owners, engineers, and estimators to prepare or validate project estimates and scopes.
• Provide oversight of field activities to ensure installations meet contract documents, quality standards, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate construction activities with Owners, Engineers, or OEMs, and monitor productivity.
• Update project schedules and generate status reports.
• Act as front-line technical liaison for Owner and Engineers.
• Provide technical analysis and recommendations to front line supervision.
