GrayWolf is seeking a Field Engineer to support a range of heavy industrial projects. This full-time on-site role interacts with owners, engineers, field supervision, and suppliers to plan work and resolve field issues. The position serves construction projects with a clear career path toward becoming a Project Manager.

This development role emphasizes hands-on field work, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and progressive responsibility as you gain experience on project sites.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of similar construction experience in industrial environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review estimates, scopes of work, and contracts with owners, engineers, and estimators.
• Oversee field activities to ensure installations meet contract documents, quality standards, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate construction activities with owners, engineers, or OEMs and other concurrent projects.
• Monitor productivity and verify earned value for progress payments, updates, and claims.
• Identify and initiate key steps in the Change Order Management process.
• Update project schedules and generate status reports.
• Serve as front-line technical liaison for owners and engineers; provide analysis and recommendations.
