Job summary

IES Communications seeks a Project Lead - Structured Cabling to supervise installation teams on large-scale commercial projects. You will oversee voice, data, and fiber systems, mentor crew leads, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong communication with project stakeholders, hands-on troubleshooting, and the ability to read blueprints and specifications. Travel to sites may be required to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in telecommunications or structured cabling.
• Minimum 6 months in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong safety, quality, and customer-satisfaction focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple installation crews and coordinate on large commercial projects.
• Provide field leadership, mentorship, and training to team members.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to meet schedule and budget.
• Serve as on-site customer contact and attend meetings.
