Job summary

IES is seeking a Project Lead - Fiber to act as the on-site coordinator and supervisor for fiber installation projects in Meridian, MS. You will oversee Crew Leads, ensure safety, quality, and timely completion while coordinating with the Project Manager on productivity and budget.

You will also perform testing, termination, splicing, and installation tasks, ensuring adherence to standards and proper documentation of all activities. Travel within regions is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Proficiency with listed tools and safety guidelines.
• Experience leading fiber installation crews and testing.
• Ability to travel within branch/region as needed.

Responsibilities

• On-site coordination of multiple fiber crews to ensure timely completion.
• Lead training, enforce safety and quality standards, and conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Coordinate with Project Manager for productivity and budget compliance.
• Perform testing and splicing activities, install fiber connectors, and document work orders.
