Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Contract Closeout Assistant to support the 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron on-site at Lackland AFB, five days a week.

You will assist a team handling enterprise-wide contract closeouts for Air Force bases and related agencies, performing administrative duties and ensuring compliance. The role requires DoD closeout knowledge, strong organization and communication, and proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Federal Government contract closeout experience or a BA/BS degree (or 6 years closeout experience)
• Ability to quickly obtain a Tier 1 background check
• Knowledge of DoD contract closeout processes and regulations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• MS Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist the Contracting Officer with administrative tasks related to acquisition operations.
• Support contract closeout processes, including de-obligation of ULOs and UDOs and other post-award services.
• Manage auto-closeout actions, digitize contracts, and organize documentation.
• Proofread and organize contract records and documents.
• Use EDA, WAWF, and PIEE applications.
• Coordinate with DFAS to verify payment histories and invoice statuses.
• Collaborate with DCAA and DCMA to confirm audit status and final acceptance.
• Prepare closeout documents for CO approval and draft DD 1594s.
• Input contract obligations into the system and assist with closeout documentation.
