Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of facility maintenance experience.
• Knowledge and experience in diagnosis and repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
• Ability to take initiative and problem solve as needs arise.
• Proficient use of tools across various trades.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance as assigned, including communication with engineering supervisor.
• Perform grounds-keeping duties such as trash removal and irrigation maintenance.
• General maintenance and preventive maintenance per program manual.
• Repair and refurbishment tasks including carpentry, painting, and fixtures.
• Clear snow and maintain safe walkways and exits.
• Repair plumbing and electrical fixtures and troubleshoot systems.
• Detect and report unsafe conditions and maintain clean work areas.
• Be on-call for emergencies and perform related duties.
