Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead facilities operations on an on-site Chicago campus. You will supervise engineers and maintenance staff, coordinate with multiple shifts, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety.

The role emphasizes proactive rounds, incident documentation, and collaboration with clinical departments to deliver reliable services to clients and patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years facilities operations experience in healthcare or similarly complex environments.
• Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life safety systems.
• Proficiency with CMMS and basic computer applications; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems.
• Supervise engineers and maintenance staff including hiring, training and coaching.
• Coordinate with 1st and 3rd shift teams to ensure smooth handoffs and communication of ongoing work.
• Inspect facilities for repairs and enter work orders for resolved items.
• Utilize CMMS to track preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with regulatory and hospital requirements to support safe operations and patient care.
