Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Riverwoods, IL is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee multiple properties, lead a facilities team, and drive budget discipline and service quality. The role interfaces with clients and vendors to ensure high standards of operation.

You will manage capital projects, optimize costs, and implement programs to enhance productivity and the associate experience across a 1.4MM sq ft portfolio and a Class A high-rise in Chicago.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience leading Integrated Facilities Management teams and services.
• Proven leadership and relationship-building skills with strong team management capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills for complex facility management challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
• Knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data for budget management and reporting.
• Experience with compensation planning processes and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of facilities services to the assigned portfolio in accordance with agreed policies, procedures and contract scope.
• Develop and manage facility operational and capital budgets for the properties, track variances and manage within budgets.
• Lead the facility management team and operational programs for the client portfolio.
• Manage service contracts cost effectively and ensure vendors meet delivery standards.
• Act as primary point of contact for the local client across the properties.
• Deliver reports as required under the client agreement and KPI metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practices in facilities management.
• Oversee capital projects and small construction initiatives.
• Collaborate with related teams (fitness, janitorial, landscaping) as needed.
