Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations in California is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and optimize operational strategies at the Jolon site. The role involves reviewing reports, allocating resources, and ensuring execution of policies and budgets. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Applicants should have a decade in facilities operations or related fields, with supervisory experience and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. US citizenship is required for NAC/CAC clearance.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in facilities operations, logistics or maintenance related work.
• 6 of the 10 years must have been in a supervisory or management role, overseeing the performance of logistical operations and maintenance.
• General knowledge of GCSS-A, LOGSA and FEDLOG.
• Knowledge of LIW and related applications.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and proper email etiquette.
• Ability to supervise and motivate subordinates to attain objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a US Citizen to obtain a NAC for CAC.
