Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Cambridge, MA, is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations on-site and lead a dynamic on-site team. You will optimize processes, manage vendors, and support client relationships while ensuring high service levels for the Cambridge location.

The role requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience in facilities management, CMMS proficiency, and strong analytical and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (minimum).
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in facilities management or related field.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Proficient with CMMS and KPIs; able to analyze data and report metrics.
• Experience with enterprise workplace systems, digital ticketing, and data reporting tools.
• Proficient with IT tools and platforms, including AI tools and conversational search applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage site operations per policies, procedures, and contract requirements.
• Oversee vendor relationships for janitorial, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and critical systems.
• Track and audit client work orders in the CMMS to meet SLAs.
• Build strong client relationships and meet/exceed KPIs.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly spend reporting; manage POs and invoices.
• Lead and develop a professional on-site team focused on exceptional service.
• Coordinate with fitness, food services, security, and capital projects teams.
