Job summary

JLL, Seattle, is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to partner with the Facilities Manager. You will oversee daily property operations, lead improvement projects, and ensure efficiency of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.

You’ll manage vendors, respond to tenant needs, and report KPIs to clients. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in facility management, strong reading of technical docs, and a flexible schedule including some evenings or on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in facility management, building operations or property management.
• Working knowledge of MEP systems, BAS/BMS and energy management platforms.
• Proven project management experience with multiple priorities and budgets.
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and building codes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving with customer service orientation.
• Valid driver's license and ability to conduct site visits and inspections.
• Professional demeanor suitable for a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Facilities Manager to oversee daily property operations and ensure systems function efficiently.
• Lead facility improvement projects from conception to completion within budget and schedule.
• Conduct regular property inspections and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, develop specifications, and track SLAs.
• Respond to tenant requests and participate in after-hours on-call rotations.
• Use CMMS and facility software to track work orders and KPI reports.
• Present operational updates in Property Management meetings and maintain client relations.
