Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support facility operations at an on-site Newark location. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, conduct inspections, and collaborate with engineers to ensure optimal building performance and tenant satisfaction.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of building repair and maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated competency in inspection, maintenance and repair activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions affecting occupancy and operations.
• Handle interior maintenance tasks (hanging, repairs, doors).
• Replace lighting, clean HVAC coils, change filters/belts.
• Update work orders in CMMS (Corrigo).
• Complete hazard assessments and follow safety procedures.
