Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking a Building Maintenance Associate to support facility operations in Wilmington. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable building operations and client satisfaction.

You will collaborate with the facility management team, maintain CMMS records, respond to work orders, and assist with safety initiatives and site operations in a commercial/industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities operations.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Basic computer proficiency including email, CMMS, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in ladders, rooftops, and mechanical spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical building systems.
• Inspect building infrastructure and equipment to identify maintenance concerns.
• Respond to work orders, service requests, and building emergencies promptly.
• Monitor building automation systems and respond to alarms as needed.
• Complete minor repairs to lighting, doors, locks, fixtures, and general building components.
• Maintain maintenance records and update CMMS.
• Support facility projects, space moves, safety initiatives, and site operations.
