Job summary

JLL is hiring for Building Operations, Facilities Services in Wilmington, NC. This on-site role focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance, HVAC controls, and preventive care to keep building systems reliable and safe.

You will support tenant requests, manage vendor coordination, and contribute to exceptional workplace experiences. A valid driver's license, high school diploma, and 2+ years of maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required due to contract requirements.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs and climb ladders.
• On-call availability for after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance including lighting repairs, HVAC coil cleaning, filter changes, and belt replacements.
• Carry out interior maintenance such as hanging items, installing trays, repairing furniture, and completing projects like painting or locksmith work.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence, document conditions and report needs.
• Respond to tenant service requests; perform minor plumbing repairs.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed and coordinate with occupants.
• Assist operations team with troubleshooting and repair of equipment and subsystems.
• Work involves climbing ladders up to 30 feet, bending, lifting up to 80 lbs, and working overhead.
