Job summary

Education Service Center, Region 2 is seeking an on-site Maintenance Lead to supervise custodial and trades staff and ensure district facilities operate at peak efficiency. You will guide carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting and related tasks, reading blueprints, and maintaining safety standards.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will coordinate repair schedules, monitor quality, and optimize the physical plant for uninterrupted use across campuses in Corpus Christi.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge of crafts used in building repair and maintenance.
• Ability to direct and supervise personnel.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong mathematical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership for maintenance and repair services.
• Assist Director of Operations to keep facilities in top operating condition.
• Oversee trades such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related tasks.
• Ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of work orders.
