SSC Services for Education in Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Facilities to oversee campus facilities operations, including maintenance, custodial, grounds and central plant. In this high-visibility leadership role, you will partner with our higher education client to drive operational excellence and safety.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership in facilities management, strong financial acumen, and experience directing large teams.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in facilities management or related operations environments.
• Experience managing large-scale maintenance, custodial, and grounds operations.
• Strong financial acumen including budget management and P&L responsibility.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day facilities operations across maintenance, custodial, grounds, and infrastructure services.
• Serve as trusted advisor and primary point of contact for campus leadership.
• Drive operational performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, ensuring strong financial stewardship.
• Oversee central plant operations, preventive maintenance programs, and asset management strategies.
• Build and mentor high-performing teams focused on service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and execute campus improvement projects.
