Job summary

HRB seeks a Senior Manager, Facilities to lead operations for the Vienna, VA headquarters and leased properties, onsite five days a week. You will oversee preventive maintenance, safety, security, vendor performance, and workplace operations to deliver safe, cost-effective, and welcoming facilities.

You will supervise internal staff and contractors, manage budgets, and collaborate across a 400+ person organization on special projects while maintaining strong records and relationships with

Qualifications

• 7+ years in facilities, property management, or related operations.
• 5+ years of management experience overseeing staff or contractors.
• Experience managing owned and leased properties and budgets.
• Strong decision-making, project management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP training helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, safety, security, and day-to-day facilities operations for the headquarters building and leased properties.
• Monitor leases and negotiate renewals with real estate brokers.
• Develop annual preventive maintenance schedules for owned and leased properties.
• Manage facilities budgets, priorities, and improvement projects.
• Supervise facilities staff and third-party contractors, including performance management.
• Inspect buildings and maintain records on repairs and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with teams across a 400+ person organization and support special projects as assigned.
