Vista Life Innovations, Inc. in Madison, CT is seeking a Facilities and Vehicle Fleet Manager to oversee facilities, fleet, and property operations, ensuring our sites are safe, compliant, and operational.

You will lead maintenance, supervise staff and vendors, and manage preventive plans while coordinating inspections and regulatory requirements. Strong budget and contract management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5+ years in facilities/property management and fleet oversight.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience; associate/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record as defined by employer.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems; budget oversight.
• Experience with vendor contracts and operating budgets; certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repairs, renovations, security, and improvements for facilities, grounds, properties, and vehicles.
• Supervise staff, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensure facilities and fleet are properly maintained and operational.
• Manage vehicle lifecycle: acquisition, replacement planning, registration, insurance, inspections, maintenance, disposal.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and monitor costs (mileage, fuel, repairs).
• Coordinate safety, compliance, and regulatory documentation; respond to emergencies.
• Develop and manage annual facilities and fleet budgets; long-range plans.
