Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead planning and daily operations at Hawai‘i Convention Center. You will supervise staff, coordinate events, and ensure exceptional service.

You will monitor budgets, forecasts, and labor costs while maintaining safety and compliance. On-site leadership and collaboration across departments are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressively responsible food & beverage, hospitality, venue, convention center, catering, banquet, restaurant, or event operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, Event Management, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of prior supervisory or management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of retail point-of-sales (POS) systems and policies.
• Strong understanding of FOH, BOH, catering, concessions, and event service.
• Experience coordinating large-scale events and managing contingent labor is desirable.
• Experience with BEOs, Work Orders, and Momentus or similar platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Food & Beverage with planning, organization, and daily operation of the F&B department.
• Develop strong working knowledge of Momentus, including event information, Work Orders, schedules, space assignments, service requirements, and changes.
• Participate in Work Order & BEO, event planning, and meetings; identify staffing, equipment, and logistical needs.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service policies and monitor service for 100% compliance.
• Manage events from setup through breakdown; coordinate hourly staff, culinary teams, clients, and guests.
• Ensure the venue operates legally, efficiently, professionally and profitably.
• Analyze financial reports: budgets, forecasts, labor costs, product costs, and P&L.
