Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking an ESH Coordinator to support project teams in implementing environmental, safety and health standards at the site level. Responsibilities include monitoring safety, investigating incidents, managing workers' comp data, and conducting site safety orientations.

Qualifications include a BA/BS preferred with 1+ year in construction safety, OSHA 30-hour construction, and STS. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to protect workers and ensure

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred with at least one year of construction or industrial health and safety experience.
• Completed OSHA 30-hour training for construction AND STS.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal relations and effective communication.
• Able to follow safety policies and work with project teams on site.

Responsibilities

• Monitors safety conditions and enforces OSHA and Layton standards on site.
• Assist ESH Manager to investigate accidents and collect initial data.
• Monitor workers' compensation issues and report information.
• Conduct site-specific safety orientations for project sites.
• Participate in pre-construction safety meetings and raise issues.
• Assist injury management to ensure appropriate medical care.
• Conduct industrial hygiene surveys to detect hazards.
