Job summary

Clean Harbors in Roseville, MN is seeking an Environmental Center Chemist (CleanPack Chemist) to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste in compliance with regulations. This is a customer-facing, on-site role at plants, labs, and customer sites.

This entry-level position includes paid training (out-of-state Academy) and provides growth toward a Salary Management track with multiple internal roles. Benefits, 401K, and tuition support are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• By position, obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the priority and follow safe work practices.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, manifests and disposal notices.
• Inspect staging, storage areas and drums for leaks and compliance.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal and manage shipments to customer sites.
