Clean Harbors, Inc. in Romulus, MI is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist (CleanPack Chemist) to handle, segregate, pack and inspect chemical waste at customer sites and our facilities.

This is a customer-facing, on-site role that works indoors and outdoors, supporting lab packs, HHW collections and lab moves. The position offers safety-first culture, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for advancement through accelerated training and internal transfers across 200+

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license required.
• CDL Class B with hazmat/tanker endorsement within 6 months of employment.
• Must pass background check, drug test and physical.

Responsabilités

• Prepare packing lists, labels, manifest and disposal notifications.
• Inspect staging, storage areas and drums for leaks and labeling compliance.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal to maintain compliance.
• Perform site visits at customer locations, including Fortune 500 companies.
• Operate vehicles safely per DOT and company policies.
