Job summary

Clean Harbors in Roseville, MN is seeking an Environmental Center Chemist (CleanPack Chemist) to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. You will work at customer sites daily, both indoors and outdoors, and assist with lab packs and HHW collections.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license required.
• CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months.
• Background check, drug test and medical review required.
• Ability to meet respirator and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Handle, segregate, pack and inspect chemical waste per regulations.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, manifests and disposal notifications.
• Inspect staging areas and drums for leaks, labeling, and compliance.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal and assist at customer sites.
• Assist with lab packs and HHW collections at facilities and sites.
• Operate in accordance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and company policies.
