Job summary

Haskell in Frisco, TX is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to join a project team on-site. You will work with Project Managers, Directors of Construction, and Superintendents by completing assigned tasks and learning company management tools to support project delivery.

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management. The role emphasizes site-based learning, safety, quality, and collaboration across disciplines, with potential travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Field Management, Safety, and Quality: coordinate with subs, monitor safety and quality, document site activities and reports.
• Document Control and Project Communications: manage submittals, RFIs, logs, and meeting notes; maintain as-builts and redlines.
• Scheduling: assist with progress schedules and plan construction operations.
• Financial Management: assist with budgets, costs, invoicing, change orders and cost reporting.
• Procurement and Commitments: identify subcontractors, prepare bid packages, evaluate bids, assist with subcontracts and PO issuance.
• Estimating: prepare estimates and cost codes for cost reporting.
• Scope and Change Management: document changes in scope and terms.
• Design Coordination: participate in design reviews and coordinate with AE; track permits.
• Client Relations: assist with client communications, reports, change orders, and pay requisitions.
• Project Lifecycle: support start-up and close-out requirements, punch lists, and inspections.
• Software Knowledge: learn and use Procore, Building Connected, scheduling tools, drones and related tech.
• Travel as required.
• Other duties as needed.
• May supervise others.
