Job summary

Haskell is looking for an Assistant Project Manager I to join our on-site project teams in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on supporting project managers and superintendents across field management, documentation, scheduling, and cost control on active construction projects.

As an entry-level construction management position, you will participate in management training programs and gain hands-on experience with company tools and procedures. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the construction industry, including methods, engineering, equipment, technology, safety.
• Ability to monitor resources, including budgets, schedules and materials, in an environment of multiple, competing demands.
• Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Field Management, Safety, and Quality: Works with superintendent on subcontractor coordination, safety and quality management, and site reporting and controls.
• Document Control and Project Communications: Manages submittals, RFIs, log maintenance, and as-builts.
• Scheduling: Updates progress schedules and plans construction operations and sequences.
• Financial Management: Assists with budgets, costs, invoicing, change orders and cost reporting.
