Job summary

Haskell is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to join its on-site construction team in Jacksonville. The role supports Project Managers, Directors of Construction, Project Directors and Superintendents by handling assigned tasks and learning through hands-on experience on active projects.

The position emphasizes field learning, safety and quality, with opportunities to participate in management training and develop proficiency in industry tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the construction industry, including methods, engineering, equipment, technology, and safety.
• Ability to monitor resources including budgets, schedules and materials.

Responsibilities

• Field management, safety, and quality with subcontractors and site reporting.
• Scheduling updates with the project team and assisting in planning operations.
• Assisting with budgets, costs, invoicing, change orders, and cost reporting.
• Procurement and commitments: identifying subcontractors, issuing bids, and assisting with subcontracts.
• Estimating: cost codes and labor cost reports.
• Design coordination and permits tracking with AE.
• Client relations and periodic reporting on project progress.
• Assist in project startup and close-out activities.
