Job summary

The Haskell Company in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to join a project team on construction sites, supporting Project Managers, Directors, and Superintendents with assigned tasks and training opportunities.

You'll gain hands-on experience in project delivery, safety, documentation, and coordination while participating in management training programs and learning company standards and procedures as you grow your construction management career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering or construction management.
• Basic knowledge of project management concepts and terminology.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training programs.

Responsibilities

• Field Management, Safety, and Quality: support subs, safety, and quality on site and document observations.
• Document Control and Communications: manage submittals, RFIs, and logs; assist with meeting notes.
• Scheduling: help update progress schedules and plan construction operations.
• Financial: assist with project budgets, costs, invoicing, and cost reporting.
• Design Coordination: participate in design reviews and coordinate with AE for field solutions.
• Client Relations: assist PM with client correspondence and reporting.
• Project Lifecycle: support start-up and close-out activities; maintain manuals and punch lists.
