Job summary

ESFM is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead on-site engineering for integrated facilities management, ensuring safe and reliable operation of high-density computer environments. You will provide technical leadership, manage staff, and oversee budgets and vendor relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or military background, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or military experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to stay organized in a changing environment.
• Proven leadership and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all operating equipment within the facility.
• Develop and train staff in plant and emergency procedures.
• Procure parts for routine preventative and emergency repairs.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and manage budgets for parts and labor.
• Develop plant-wide preventive maintenance schedule for building and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with wastewater and emissions standards.
• Oversee contractors for repairs and upkeep.
• Available for off-site startups and special projects.
