Job summary

ESFM USA is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead on-site engineering and deliver Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services for high-density compute environments. You will provide technical leadership, manage a team, and oversee operations to ensure safe, reliable facility performance.

The role requires managing hard services, critical infrastructure, and coordinating with vendors, with a focus on safety, budgets, and continuous improvement. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or military experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.
• Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership.
• Must be capable of reading electrical schematics, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Good working knowledge of plant maintenance including Electrical, Boilers, Hydraulics, Compressed Air, Mechanical Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all operating equipment within the facility.
• Develop and train all staff in plant and emergency procedures.
• Handle procurement of all repair parts for routine preventative and emergency repairs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Develop a plant-wide Preventative maintenance schedule for all building, process equipment, and all plant utilities.
• Maintain the departmental budget with focus on parts, supplies and labor management.
• Assure compliance with all wastewater and emissions standards.
• Oversee outside contractors in the repairs and upkeep of plant equipment.
• Available for off-site, plants startups and special projects.
