Job summary

ESFM is seeking a Chief Building Engineer for the 2nd shift to lead the on-site engineering team in delivering Integrated Facilities Management for high-density compute environments. You will own the liquid cooling systems, drive preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensure 24/7 reliability of critical infrastructure.

Candidates should have 7–10+ years in facility engineering or mission-critical settings, with EPA 608 certification and strong leadership abilities."

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, liquid cooling, and critical infrastructure in data centers.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams or site operations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in high-reliability environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead IFM hard services delivery for mechanical/electrical/plumbing and critical infra.
• Direct and develop engineers and technicians; establish shift coverage and accountability.
• Serve as site technical authority for liquid cooling systems (CDUs, pumps, heat exchangers, piping).
• Oversee maintenance and optimization of liquid cooling with monitoring of temp/pressure/flow.
• Drive incident response, RCA, and 24/7 uptime for mission-critical systems.
