Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Complete a criminal history disclosure form as approved by the appointing authority.
• Consent to release records involving criminal history to the appointing authority.
• Fingerprint sample per TBI-based history records clerk.

Responsibilities

• Provides generalized assistance to eligibility staff for SNAP and TANF programs.
• Promotes a positive image within the Division of Family Assistance by delivering excellent customer service.
• Serves as the first point of contact by greeting customers and distributing applications and materials.
• Assists customers with self-service options such as kiosks and the customer portal.
• Manages office drop box and processing of new documents upon receipt.
• Maintains employment and resource boards and restocks lobby pamphlets.
• Provides front desk coverage by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and registering applications.
• Receives and processes mail and faxes; enters documents into databases and filing systems.
