Job summary

DOC SERVICES INC. seeks an Electromechanical Field Service Technician who will work from home and travel to customer sites to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on electromechanical equipment in large box retailers.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and service equipment, document work with handheld devices, and order parts as needed. Candidates should have strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, read schematics, and maintain safe work practices daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; able to read schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Respond to service calls within required timeframes.
• Maintain documentation via handheld device.
• Order parts and manage on-hand inventory.
• Travel to customer locations and arrive on time.
• Evaluate and educate customers on preventable issues.
