Job summary

ITAC is seeking an On-site Quality Installation Oversight professional to monitor and inspect electrical work on active construction sites in Virginia. You will ensure conformance to NEC, coordinate with project engineers and subcontractors, and maintain QA/QC logs and reports.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years QA/QC in electrical construction, and a Journeyman/Master’s License. Procore or BIM 360 experience is a plus; OSHA 30/NFPA 70E certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman or Master’s License.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction (a plus).
• Strong working knowledge of national electrical codes (NEC) and testing methods.
• Comfortable working full-time on-site in active construction zones.
• Familiarity with QA documentation and tools like Procore or BIM 360 is a plus.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or other safety certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect all electrical work on-site to ensure compliance with project specs and NEC.
• Conduct daily QA/QC logs, site inspections, and punch lists.
• Oversee pre-commissioning activities and assist with testing and commissioning coordination.
