Job summary

IREN is seeking a Construction Electrical QA/QC Technician to support project planning, inspections, and compliance across electrical installations at our on-site locations. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in electrical project management or QA, OSHA-30, and strong communication skills.

Role involves collaboration with construction teams, engineers, and subcontractors, with a path toward QA/QC leadership in data center projects. On-site work with potential shift flexibility may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years in electrical project management/supervision and/or QA program management.
• Thorough understanding of construction technologies, equipment, processes, and methods.
• OSHA-30 certification required (or within six months).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project planning and determine installation techniques.
• Conduct regular walk-through inspections for compliance with specs and safety rules.
• Inspect products, on-site materials, equipment and installation processes for conformance.
• Document inspection results and communicate non-compliance with corrective actions.
• Provide QA/QC feedback during each project phase to support improvement.
• Develop risk management strategies and enforce compliance standards.
