ITAC is seeking an On-site QA/QC professional to monitor and inspect electrical work in active construction projects in the Town of Chester, NY. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with NEC, conducting daily inspections, and coordinating with engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of QA/QC experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred safety certifications.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; field personnel encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in commercial/industrial electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and installation best practices.
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E or equivalent safety certifications are desirable.
• Proficient with QA documentation and on-site reporting tools.

Aufgaben

• On-site QA/QC oversight of electrical work, conduit, switchgear, panels, lighting, and grounding.
• Conduct daily walkdowns, quality checks, and milestone inspections.
• Maintain QA/QC logs, test records, NCRs, and punch lists.
• Interface with project engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and client QA/QC reps.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety walks, and progress meetings as quality advocate.
