IES Commercial, Inc. in Chester, VA is seeking a full-time QA/QC Coordinator to support development of QA standards, perform inspections and audits, and ensure adherence to project specifications.

The role emphasizes identifying non-conformances, initiating corrective actions, and maintaining QA records on-site with the Project Team. The candidate should have 2-5 years electrical construction experience, a HS diploma, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel/Word.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' electrical construction experience.
• HS Diploma/GED.
• Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Electrical field experience preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, organizational and detail orientation.
• Pre-employment background and MVR checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions.
• Identifies non-conformances and issues corrective/preventive action reports.
• Monitors corrective actions and verifies closure of quality issues.
• Maintains accurate QA/QC documentation and records.
• Reports quality performance metrics to management.
• Coordinates inspections, tests, and audits at various project stages.
• Ensures compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations.
• Performs onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
• Proactively works with Project Team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first time.
• Performs work onsite with the Project Team in performing all inspections and reports.
• Ensures compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
