Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Mesa, AZ is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer for the day shift. This on-site role supports high-speed beverage manufacturing, providing hands-on automation troubleshooting and project work across PLC, HMI, and networked equipment.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in engineering technology, information systems, industrial automation or related field.
- At least 4 years in industrial automation/controls in high-speed manufacturing.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
- Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems and industrial networks.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
- Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
- Maintain PLC/HMI backups, drawings, and change records.
- Support commissioning, upgrades, and system integration projects.
- Mentor and train maintenance technicians and operators.
