Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or occupational health, industrial hygiene or related field.
• Internship, co-op, or prior work experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal environmental regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety-related activities with the EHS team and monitor plant conditions for safety and legal compliance.
• Complete plant audits and program assessments, recommend improvements, and prepare written reports.
• Participate in incident investigations to determine root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Conduct employee safety training programs.
• Assess and monitor site compliance with applicable environmental regulations and work with plant personnel to ensure compliance.
• Support fatality prevention efforts and assist in deploying key prevention elements.
• Partner with location leadership to deliver EHS objectives.
