Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required as part of basic qualifications.
• 3 years of environmental experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Experience writing wastewater permits, monitoring compliance, reporting, and storm water management.
• Experience supporting health and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a culture aligned with Howmet’s EHS goals with continuous improvements.
• Direct and coach plant personnel to achieve EHS goals safely.
• Develop and implement Environmental, Health and Safety programs to meet regulatory requirements.
• Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports, and permits (Air, Wastewater, Storm Water, Chemical, Waste Disposal).
• Drive environmental stewardship through management systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead environmental permit reviews and interface with regulatory agencies.
• Maintain records and documents as necessary.
• Evaluate production and equipment changes for environmental impact.
• Develop and deliver EHS compliance training.
• Lead cross-functional teams on environmental improvement projects.
• Optimize processes to reduce waste and water usage; support sustainability goals.
• Lead contractor management of wastewater treatment and discharge program.
