Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking an on-site Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Clinician in San Fransico, CA to join our growing team. The licensed clinician will provide a full range of EAP services for employees, managers, and the employer organization for a large government agency.

Work schedule: 40 hours/week, On-Site Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. Must hold an active California license; 2+ years in EAP/mental health; ability to pass federal security clearance; travel occasional; transportation and

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted CA license as Counselor, Therapist, or Clinician.
• Documentation of licensure or status pending must be submitted.
• Two or more years in EAP or behavioral health.
• Ability to obtain federal security clearance (high-trust).

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of EAP services for employees, managers, and employer organization.
• Deliver direct counseling, crisis response, psychoeducational presentations, and outreach.
• Make referrals to treatment services and ensure smooth transitions from EAP.
• Refer clients to community resources to support wellbeing and mental health.
• Maintain client records in accordance with policies and HIPAA rules.
• Collaborate with supervisors on clinical case staffing and high-risk cases.
